Maamba Collieries Limited (MCL) is the largest coal mining company in Zambia. Under a new management, MCL is introducing improved mining and processing methods with state-of-the-art, eco-friendly equipment and adding value by establishing a mine-mouth, coal fired power plant at Maamba in the Southern province.
